Christmas really came early in 2021! It’s that time of the year to find Christmas makeup looks for each occasion.
Below are 9 of our favourite unique and classic Christmas makeup looks that you should try out. The list also comes with a few YouTube tutorials so that you’re able to recreate similar looks.
The classic Christmas makeup look
An all-time favourite for the Christmas season. This look matches well with the coziness of staying inside your house with a nice cup of hot chocolate (don’t forget the marshmallows!).
Let’s start with the lips. The main look of the show is bright red lips. You can use red matte lipstick (for example this), liquid lipstick (like this video), tinted lip gloss or a glossy lip gloss to bring out that red shine.
The eye look is natural yet shimmery. So you can use a brown or beige eyeshadow for the lids and lower lash line (take for example this look). Bringing the highlight to the brow bone and optional, you can add a highlight to your inner lid and tear duct. Another option is using a shimmery beige eyeshadow for the lids (check this video for example). Then blend the eyeshadow to create a smokey look (you can find this look as your inspiration).
For the cheeks, you can use an orange, coral or light pink matte blush colour to bring out this subtle look. To find the best blushes, I recommend Em Cosmetics blushes!
The lazy Christmas makeup look
This look is gorgeous if you want to be unique for the Christmas season.
This look is similar to the classic Christmas makeup look – so don’t forget the bright bold red lips! You can use a red liner to outline your lips then fill it in with a bold red liquid lipstick, tinted lip gloss or glossy lip gloss.
This one has an “inverted” smokey look – the under lower lash line is this gorgeous bright teal green with the top lids being all-natural to none. You can bring out the eyelashes using black mascara.
With the blush, you want it to look natural. So you can use a bronzer or beige-brownish blush. Then add a shimmery pale pink blush to give it that little glow.

Sparkly Christmas makeup look
An elegant and beautiful look to spend around the Christmas table. If you’re a fan of glitter this and that, then you’re going to love this look! This Christmas makeup look has a glittery shimmer to the smokey eye look and lips.
A smokey eye with the eyelids being this beautiful green shimmer (like a Christmas tree) and blended out towards a darker bold tone brownish beige in the crease. The outer V and crease are blended with a matte black eyeshadow. On the lower lash line, you can use a mixture of dark and light beige. Then add a highlighter in the inner corner + tear duct of your eyes to finish off the eye look.
A very bold dark red but lighter and sparkly on the bottom middle lips. You can use a red liner to outline your lips and fill them in with red liquid lipstick or red lipstick. Then add any glitter gel to your lips. To make it easier, you can use a red shimmery liquid lipstick if you have one. You can find this liquid lipstick at MAC Cosmetics.

Christmas Lights Makeup Tutorial
If you have the time and want to bring out something unique and creative for this season, try this Christmas lights look.
This is why it’s called a “Christmas light” makeup look because you’re actually creating colourful Christmas lights on your brow bone and eyelids. Like the video, you can use 4 different colours (red, yellow, green and blue) or the colour of your choice. (Optional) create feminine lights using soft colours like pink, orange, white or any pastels.
Add in a shimmer of highlighter to create this glow on your cheeks, chin and the tip of your nose. Put on bright red lips to give it this Christmas spirit! You can use red liquid lipstick or red lip gloss.

Bronzed & Sparkly Christmas Makeup
Not a big fan of the bright red and green? You can cut to this stunning bronzed yet shimmery Christmas makeup look.
Creating a smokey eye, add bronze shimmer to your middle eyelids and the inner corners. Then create a gradient outer V and brow bone area using a matte brown eyeshadow. Blend it all together. Then add a highlight to the brow bone.
You can use a bronze or coral blush to create a strong cheekbone. Then add a highlight to your cheekbones, the tip of your nose and the inner corner of your eyes. Finish it off with brown or beige liquid lipstick and lip gloss.

Full Christmas Glam Makeup Look
Similar to the “lazy Christmas makeup look” but this time it has the red smokey eye shadow top lids and bolder lips (to make the eye look stand out for the season).
With this look, you have the crease being a blended beautiful red with the inner lid being a shade of pale pink/white. Then to pack up the look, bring a shade of green to the lower lash line.
Add a shade of coral to bring this look a beautiful boldness. Add a pop of bold red lipstick or matte lipgloss to finish the look off.

Classic Christmas Look but Glam
Like the classic Christmas look but this time you add shimmer to your eyelids, lips and more highlighter to your cheekbones and nose tip.
This is a beautiful Christmas makeup look if you’re looking to bring out your glow or be extra.
Smokey Green Glam Makeup Look
Looking to bring green and beige to your table? This look is for you.
The shimmer of green on your eyelids blended out with an orange, beige matte eyeshadow to create a smokey look. The inner lids/tear duct had a beige-white shimmer (like this look). In the lower lash line, you can have the choice of blending it using the same green you used for the top lids or leave it natural.
Using a coral beige colour for your lips can help your eye look stand out for the Christmas season (as the eye look is already bold enough). Just like this look. Simply finish it off with light coral blush.
Glitter Cut Crease Makeup Look
Lastly on the list is a gorgeous unique and glam look. The cut crease eyeshadow is the main attraction of the show!
Using feminine colours, the eyelids to the outer V are all shimmer and glitter. The sharp cut crease is a gradient magenta then highlighted on the brow bone.
Used a generous amount of highlight for the cheeks, brow bone and nose. The eyes are the centre of attention in this look so use a bold matte lipstick or lipgloss for the lips.
